Functional Medicine Path to Health Programs

Do you ever wish that your healthcare provider would take the time to listen to your story and actually hear what you have to say? If you’re not being heard, how can you ever hope to heal?

Think how much is missed, when you are not allowed the time and space to tell your story.  Unfortunately the current healthcare system is not designed for this for many reasons.  Laura believes that 90% of the solution is simply found by listening to your story.

Once your story has been heard, Laura will be able to make recommendations, which can include appropriate functional lab testing, lifestyle, nutrition, mindset transformations, and necessary supplement support.

Laura doesn't want you to miss your chance to change your life!

There are a couple of ways in which you can begin your path to health and healing.  Start with one of Laura's DIY programs designed to help you detox your body, heal your gut and balance your hormones.

Or if you live in the states of Colorado or Iowa, one-on-one consultations are available via both telemedicine/video and in person.

You get to pick the approach.  Either way, you will be provided with both the tools and resources you need to support your health goals, so that you can reclaim your health and vitality!

Please note:  Online functional medicine consultations with Laura are not meant to be a replacement for seeking appropriate healthcare advice from your primary healthcare provider.

Frequently Asked Questions About Functional Healing

Can we work together remotely?  Yes!  Most choose to have their appointments with Path to Health and Healing via Zoom or phone from the comfort of their own home or office.  No taking time to drive across town, sit in a busy clinic waiting room, or find someone to watch the kids.  However in person visits are also available on a limited basis.

Where do I go to have lab work done?  If you are needing blood drawn, this can be arranged for you with a lab drawing station near you.  For example, Ulta discounted labs are drawn at Quest Labs.  Other functional diagnostic labs tests such as stool, urine, saliva or hair analysis can be dropped ship directly do you.  You will then complete the test in the comfort of your home and ship back directly to the lab.

Is lab testing necessary? Yes! Labs are a vital part of the process in uncovering hidden malfunctions, discovering healing opportunities, and getting to the root cause of your health issues. Without the information that labs provide us, we would just be guessing what's wrong with you. We don't guess...we test.

How much do lab fees cost? Lab costs will vary from person to person and will be dependent upon the information discussed at the time of your visit. Therefore you may spend anywhere between $180-$1500 for functional diagnostic testing. In some cases, follow-up testing may be advisable to monitor things such as hormone balancing or the eradication of a gut pathogen. Regardless of how much you pay in lab fees, Path to Health and Healing has made every effort to provide you with discount pricing whenever possible.

How long does it take to heal? There is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing or how long this journey will take.  Given you are a unique individual with your own history, experiences, lifestyle, and needs - your healing process will be as unique as you and will therefore unfold as your body permits. No matter how long it takes, Laura is here to support you throughout your healing journey. There are many factors involved in determining how long it will take for an individual to heal, such as your level of participation and commitment, your individual health issues, and your current state of vitality. It’s important to understand that it’s not reasonable to expect to undo decades of damage in just a few weeks. Healing in an ongoing journey with ebbs and flows.  Your commitment and mindset are paramount to the process.

How long can we work together? You can continue to work with Laura as long as you need.  Whether you choose to adopt a proactive approach to maintaining your health, or if you require additional support, the goal is to provide the right amount of support to facilitate your health goals. In order to be fully committed to the process, regular follow up and interaction with your practitioner is important to your success.  If you take 3 years to complete 3 appointments, you are not ready to make the investment in your health that is required.

Is there a payment plan option?  There are currently no payment plans available.  Payment is due at time of service.  If you have a Health Savings Account, this may be an option you can use to cover the cost of your consultations.
