Low Dose Naltrexone – The one drug that may help get your health back on track

As Thomas Fuller stated so well, “Health is not valued until sickness comes”.  This could not be more true.  It is easy to take our health for granted until an illness or injury stops us in our tracks.  It is at those times that we appreciate the importance of good health.

Over the years I have treated thousands of people who would give anything to have their health back.  Getting to the root cause of a chronic disease in particular can be very challenging.  One of the biggest challenges is helping people find relief from medical conditions that conventional medicine does not have a lot of answers for.  These conditions are managed with various drug therapies, but yet people continue to suffer and seem to only see their health continue to deteriorate over time.

So, want to know the one drug that may help to get your health back on track if this is you?
There is one drug that I have prescribed in my practice that has helped around 50% of the patients that have been on it.  It is inexpensive and was originally approved by the FDA in 1984 to reverse the effects of drug overdose.  That drug is naltrexone or narcan.  You have probably heard a lot about it on the news recently due to the opiate epidemic that has impacted so many lives.  The dosage used in these cases is 50mg.

Now here is the interesting thing.  When naltrexone is used in very low doses, it can help treat many conditions.  Low dose naltrexone or LDN’s benefits were first discovered by Dr. Bernard Bihari, MD in the the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.  He started to use LDN to treat cancer, autoimmune diseases such as lupus and multiple scelorisis.

Since Dr. Bihari’s discovery, many clinicians around the world have used LDN for a wide variety of conditions.  I am one of those clinicians who has prescribed LDN and the results can be life changing.  LDN is not a cure, but can help improve symptoms.  I have seen amazing responses in some of my patients who have Hashimoto’s, Chronic Epstein Barr, Chronic Fatigue, Crohn’s, Severe Depression, Connective Tissue Disorders, and more.

If you would like to learn if LDN could help you, soon I will be taking appointments and can evaluate if LDN is right for you.  Keep watching this website for more details in the coming weeks on how you can work with me.

If you or someone you know has benefited from LDN, feel free to share your experience with others in the Path to Health and Healing Facebook Group.
